| I just rewatched Dracula for the first time since i was like 13... its a beautiful looking film, but the script is uneven as hell. supposedly that one was cut before release too, i remember a longer bootleg making the rounds back in 1994, 1995. as for frankenstein i dont remember it, but incidentally it was on the HD channel the other day and i tivoed it, just havent had the time to watch. i remember being disappointed. also BrainDead (aka Dead Alive) was Jacksons 3rd film actually. first was Bad Taste, which is my favorite one as its just so ridiculously over the top and you really get the sense of everyone pooling their talent together to make a movie for the sake of making it. then theres also meet the feebles which ive honestly never made my way thru, but its certainly an interesting film. > > Probably not horror either, but what do you think of "Bram > Stoker's Dracula" and "Mary Shelley's Frankenstein"? > They're both the Coppola versions except Branagh directed > Frankenstein. > > Ashton, my friend and the composer on my musical, sent me > an earlier cut of "Frankenstein" which was SUCH a better > film.
