SINGLE: THE FUTURE AIN'T WHAT IT USED TO BE

NEW YORK (Billboard) - Meat Loaf scores quite the coup, enlisting Jennifer Hudson on a track from "Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose." In fact, this is the only major-label recording other than "Dreamgirls" that she has thus far appeared on. With an Academy Award win and the public's general warm fuzzy for the artist, timing couldn't be better for adult top 40 to get in on the act, as signature "And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going" maintains gangbuster business at R&B/hip-hop and adult R&B. This song is a typical bombastic ballad that glowingly typifies Mr. Loaf's deep catalog.
