| Thanks for posting the article. I totally believe Patti. Anyone who has witnessed any of Meat's online rants before his handlers can clean it up or delete it knows he is very mercurial and thin-skinned - and that is his own personally written feelings. In fact that is the real honest Meat Loaf in his very on words so kind of tough to deny. Just posting this article in other places will probably just get deleted since most don't want to hear it and will give the old "it's only one side" or "will just cause arguments" while when Meat says something it as though it is indispuatble fact. I like his music, he is still the greatest live performer I have ever seen, and at times his voice is just not there any more, but I do get tired of being called a "troll" after being a loyal fan since before "Bat Out of Hell" went to the top of the charts and never really have said anything disparaging or disrespectful about him. Some people just have no sense of realism or they try to moderate a false sense of reality. I do think the fact that Patti was there for him since 1993 except for when by his own admission he let the wrong people - it wasn't him of course - influence him to dump her. Then she loyally came back and he said on camera he'd never let it happen again, then he did. And if the reason I heard he got ticked off is the real story it just makes him look even worse. I think this is a great example of how we were better off when we knew less about celebrities than we do now. They say never meet your heroes for a reason. | |
