She wasn't dumped the first time. She was royally screwed over on Bat 3 and walked with little notice before the RAH show. Of course it was everyone else's fault about Bat 3. Pfffft!!!
It is my belief he runs out of steam without her.
I agree with you that knowing so much is maybe not a good thing but it's hard not to care about something I'm so passionate about. The fact it was brushed under the carpet when it happened in August on the other place is very insulting to 20 years of commitment and support from the one band member who should never even have been considered getting the boot. I'd rather see Meat and Patti perform with a tape than him without her but still with the rest of the NLE lineup. The musicians are pretty much replaceable as Patti's live band line-up seem to prove!
