I recall an interview with Meat back in the 80s-- around the time of Bad Attitude, maybe? Not sure. Meat talked about early collaborations with Jim in the 70s and other plans Jim had. Jim wanted to work with a guy named Kim Milford, who played Rocky in the LA production of The Rocky Horror Show with Meat. Milford performed in a number of rock musicals over the years but had no real notoriety. According to his Wikipedia page, he died at age 37.
Meat's comment was something like, "Steinman thought Kim Milford was the next big thing. I knew Kim Milford was nothing!"
