| Folks, I'm currently here live at Rock am Ring, Germany's biggest annual rock festival, and two days ago I saw a band here that really, really surprised me. They are called "Editors" - some might know them, they already had quite some success in the UK. However, I hadn't heard of them previously, and from what I've heard so far they seem to make great music with beautiful lyrics. Just check out (at least) the very first song in this recording of their performance here two days ago: http://youtu.be/k-Ke9161ggQ The line "Every conversation within you starts a celebration in me" somehow really struck me and I find that song really, really beautiful. For a while I even thought how them performing a version of "Body" would sound. However that may be, I guess this is a band I'll look into a little more once I get back home! | |
