| a similar exposure/discovery of Jim for me too - liked BOOH and it was only upon the release of Total Eclipse Of The Heart that I realised it was the same writer - throw in Streets Of Fire around the same time and there you have it As for Jim working with other singers and could he have made it on his own...who knows? I believe he *could* have had a workable but low level career in tandem with Rory Dodd - just listen to Bad For Good and its totally feasible...but reality was that Meat provided the voice and persona to take on the world while Jim could concentrate on writing.
