However, I have serious doubts - and that doesn't mean that I like it - that an artist Meat's age can have significant chart success in today's world. Of course, one could argue that Bat 2's success was already very unlikely in '93 and it still happened. Also, what should we care about chart success at all? It's not really that important if the general public embraces the forthcoming record in droves, all that really matters is that we like it. And I'm not saying we're not in for bigger commercial success than I'm anticipating right now. Anything can happen, so let's sit back and see what this latest project of Meat and Jim leads to! :-) | |
