I totally agree that it is that kind of project. I think Jim may add some new lyrics to some older songs and that will be about it for anything "new". What he cahnges may be alternate lyrics already written years ago and not used.

Jim is a mystery and I don't doubt he may be jotting things down, but I doubt he's been busting his arse writing that much new stuff. Maybe a little here and there for all these theatre productions "in development".

I don't even know if the stuff by Dream Engine that was "new" was really recent product or dug out of Jim's magic files.

I do believe that Jim will be communicating with Meat and Paul Crook and will keep things "in line" with his material. I don't think a Desmond Child situation is going on.

Jim will sign off on the final tracks and have Rinkoff actually involved in an active way so I do think this will be the closest thing we will ever get to another Meat Loaf- Steinman album. Maybe the last Steinman album ever depending on his activity these days in writing and so forth.

This could be the last Loaf album too especially if it is commercially successful (not easy for a 65 year-old performer). I think he'd rather go out on this note than release "Hell In A Handbasket II" but since he bought a recording studio I suspect he will utilize it as long as he can find someone to release it.
