The album is happening. There have been facebook posts from both John and Paul that they are working on the album.
Meat is quiet about this because I believe he's tired of the same old arguments and nitpicking about what he does.
He did say a while back that he wasn't saying anything more about the album.
I don't believe that it is Jim and Meat working on it together.
More likely Jim gave Meat a few songs, Meat picked some old songs to cover and now there are 8 Steinman songs on the album.
I believe that Paul is producing, Rinkoff is involved with the mixing and Jim is giving some bits of advice.
I would be amazed if Jim was actually anymore involved than that.
