The clips that showed up on YouTube for a few days said it all, really. His voice is so unbelievably fucked that it makes 3 Bats Live sound like a masterpiece. He's not even singing anymore, he's just kind of...mumbling, with the occasional shout for emphasis. It's unlistenable.
The thing that really upsets me is the fact that he goes to the effort to censor any and all evidence of it. He makes such a huge fuss about how great his voice is, how amazing it is that he hit a High F the other day...and at the same time he's deleting all online evidence of his shows because he KNOWS none of his bragging is true and that no one will go to see his shows if they actually know what they're paying to see. It's so deceitful and it's personally really disappointing coming from someone who was once my favourite artist.
Between the voice and the setlist, this is nothing more than a quick, half-assed cash-in. I really don't know why anyone would pay $100+ to see this, commitment as life-long fan or not.
