I really don't know why > anyone would pay $100+ to see this, commitment as > life-long fan or not. So true. If he is doing all these amazing vocals why pull them down? His ardent defenders say the YouTube videos are inevitably "horrible", you could film it with the latest Hi-Def camera and it would be the same. Funny thing is everything else sounds fine. Other artists leave the clips up on Youtube and they are very well shot and the sound is crisp. I think that sells tickets. I'm not opposed to Meat making some extra cash and he tries really hard. He himself admitted he did not plan a return to the UK because he did not feel he could top "Last at Bat". And in his defense thousands of people wanted him to reconsider and he did. So interest is there and he'd be dumb not to listen to that. I don't see him ever changing the setlist very much, the band has it down (especially backing vocals, cough) he knows it well and most of the songs are easier on the voice. I can see why he doesn't sing certain songs anymore and keeps ones like "Break It" with lots of shouting and backing vocals. | |
