All Revved Up & The Passion Playhouse

Just thinking over what JD said below about "All revved up"... I love the version from "Neverland" which I believe was originally what Meat and Jim had in mind for BOOH, but then Todd streamlined it. There's that story about Meat rushing up to Jim's place, as Jim had been sick, screaming "Jimmy! Jimmy! They're ruining the song! Jimmy!"

I guess I like the version from BOOH, as much as anything else from that version, but that is interesting... and I can definitely see how cool the "Neverland" version was, and from memory I think they played it that way live too. Or it started off that way. Or... I'm confused? lol.

I just love how it starts off in "Neverland", all slow and tense, feverish, literally capturing those lines, like "Do ya know what it's like? All revved up with no place to go
Do ya know what it's like? All revved up with no place to go"

It really feels like a big Steinman epic and yeah, I can't help but wonder what a version of that would sound like on CD. Anyway, yeah... Love the sax solo on the album version, which you can connect with the one from "Rock and roll dreams". Again, that sense of continuity :-)

Also, always loved the title "Dream Pollution", and still remember coming across the site when I was about 14, I think, except back then there was a picture that said: "Welcome to the Passion Playhouse". I loved how even the website had the same feeling of going on an adventure or exploration.

And... "You have entered THE GALLERY OF DESPAIR. Through word art this feeling is EXPLORED. YOU HAVE ENTERED the gallery of despair. Surrender to the utter loss of the..." something like that, haha.
