Yeah, I was convinced it was a Steinman reference until I found that it would have had to have been a Bad for Good reference. Statistically, it's much less likely.

Which, of course, would make it all the more cool.

Incidentally, a Google search for "way to treat an expensive musical instrument" with "Jim Steinman", "Meat Loaf", "God damn it daddy", "God damnit daddy" and "God dammit daddy" all excluded returns only eight results, one of which is a Jim Steinman reference anyway.

So, not exactly a common phrase outside of the Steinman Catalog.

I think that about wraps it up for theorizing, though. Unless anyone has ever read something about Stephen King mentioning Jim, then I don't think we'll ever reach a definitive answer.
