Must have been around 1984/85 (I was 11/12 yo) and it started when Meat was in the charts with Modern Girl. So actually it was Meat who made me curious in the first place and not even with a Jim song! ;-) But it was the time when I found the Bat & Dead Ringer Vinyl in my mothers little collection. So it was me at the age of 11 sitting there in front of the stereo with headphones on listening to BAT I with my mouth wide open. This all together, music, lyrics and that outstanding voice found the way straight to my heart and so it was only a matter of time until I found out about Jim and my love for him and his music.
