To me it sounds like Child originally wrote it for Alice Cooper and never got it on any of his albums.

Crap lyrics. Also, bats ain't blind.

One of the most inferior cover versions of that song.

> 4. Bad for good

Kind of boring. May was underutilized, he did his signature sounds at the beginning and the end, could have been used on any of the Queen songs too. Cutting God Speed part doesn't exactly improve the song. All in all tolerable, but it's been done better.

> 6. In the land of the pig the butcher is king

Interesting version. Quite different from how Steinman would have done it. Maybe the other Steinman songs would have also been more interesting if done in a similar style.

Tolerable

Not exactly one of the better songs. Together with Only when I feel it might work, but so far we haven't had an official release.

> 12. Seize the night

Production is fairly bad. Nothing compared to the demo. The lyrical changes are utter bollocks. Angels rising up? Where to? Demons starting to fall? Where to? Angels are supposed to be up and demons down. Or is this a Supernatural fan song where the angels are rising back up to heaven after being expelled by Metatron?
Also the vocals are downright bad there. That long drawn out iiiiii in naiiiiight is horrible.

Demo was better. Vocals and production bring it down.

Or "the songs ain't what they used to be - nor are the vocals"

> "Braver"

Currently I wouldn't be surprised if we would later wish for Karines' vocals and a production with real instruments instead of the sythns.

Agreed. Or if it has to be something rockier, Tarja.
