Bat 3 recently came up on my mp3-player. I still stand with what what I said 10 years ago: as a Meat Loaf album, it's quite good; as a Bat Out of Hell album, it's meh. It still sounds as Meat Loaf trying too hard to sound like Meat Loaf to me, if you catch my drift. The production of Jim's songs needed more bombast and power and urgency to make them work. For the other tracks it's good enough. I still think Blind as a Bat is pretty rad, and What About Love would have been perfect on say, CHSIB.
And having another singer on it still doesn't make It's All Coming Back To Me Now a duet.
