The piano riff definately says 'dance sequence on stage' to me, and most of the lyrics prompted my Peter Pan suggestion.
Definately one of my fav Steinman songs, especially the 'wail'.
Also it doesn't matter if the Rhinegold vision doesn't work for others, it's your vision and that's all that matters!
