| I love that Rolling Stone says the album "features 10 never-before-released Steinman compositions." Never released in this form, maybe! http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/hear-meat-loafs-bombastic-new-track-with-bat-out-of-hell-songwriter-20160622 Well here's this one - it's just "Draussen Ist Freiheit" basically. Meat sounds rough as hell, and sings behind the tempo badly (a real problem with this song anyway, with its melody full of half notes). Doesn't fill one with confidence for the rest of it. At least Meat Loaf will be too busy touring to campaign for Donald Trump, though perhaps "Skull of Your Country" would be appropos. | |
