I get most of my new music directly from the artists (shows, websites, kickstarters) or from bandcamp.com (which is almost from the artist). A lot of talented artists with non-mainstream music now have wide distribution through Bandcamp (and CD Baby, and to be fair, Amazon). Look up my account on Bandcamp to see what I've been listening to, and buy from those people.
(Also, if we're going to shill for small labels, I get more stuff from Projekt than Nuclear Blast.)
