Giving 110% is physically impossible. I know it's a figure of speech but it's a bullshit one in my opinion. You can only give 100% maximum and only do so for about 5 minutes at most before collapsing and probably ending up dead.
Saying that, I agree with you and that he should hold back a little and save some in reserves. Point proven with this tour, when he's gone all out and now he's fucked. And no one wants to see a fucked loaf on stage.
