Jims's songs and the meaning they have had in your life

I was reading Jacqueline post about the great driving songs and it got me thinking (it hurts man) certain songs always have a special meaning or connection in your life It could be for inspiration, solace or the most common reflecting on a past memory
Here are some of mine and the reasons why

1)Bat out of hell: For 30 years my favourite song of all time, still gives me a buzz every time I play it, though there was a period of about 5 years where I couldn’t play it at all because the words were just so prominent after my younger brother was killed in a bike accident
2)For crying out loud: six girl friends and one ex wife, this was our song

3)Two out of Three: For getting pissed one night with a girl I was so in love with and suggesting this was our song. She dumped me I don’t know why.

4)I’m gonna love her for both us: I was involved with a woman whose marriage was breaking up and he used to beat her, this song seemed so appropriate at the time.
5)Out of the frying pan: This is my inspiration/motivation song; I used to play a lot of golf and this song I used to play prior to playing a match play against another golf club. The tempo of this song just pumps me up.
6)Left in the dark: This is my depression song I play this when I’m down in the dumps, feeling a little insecure and want to wallow in self pity.

7)The future ain’t what it used to be: This seemed such an appropriate song to play when my marriage broke up even though it was my choice:

8)Objects in the rear view mirror: This song along with Meat song Where angel sings, Helped me through the darkest time I have had in my life the death of my youngest brother I used to play these two songs over and over again
9)Its all coming back to me now: Not the Pandora version especially not Meats but believes it or not the Celine Dion version. In the early part of 97 Six months after my brothers death I made the decision to move back to the UK for a year to help my parents come to terms with everything. It’s strange when not looking for love it has a way of finding you and I met this great girl who used to play this song over and over again in her car. She had no idea who Jim Steinman was. How could I not fall in love with her when her favourite song was a Steinman one?
10) I would do anything for love: By Sara Geronimo. Nearly 10 years after meeting the women of my dreams we are getting married later this year. After playing this song when it was put up for download (I think by pudding so thanks to him if not to ever put it up.) My wife to be heard it and thought how beautiful it sounded and this is now going to be our first song at our wedding.
