| One thing i have to say is i love the fact Meat's taken most of the old songs back to their original Bat songs back to their Album roots. The single drum opening to Lemon, the full opening of Anything for Love with the fading motorcycle guitar at the end, the sax on All Revved Up. And to be perfectly honest, i was a meat fan before a jim fan, although i now realise just how much of a genius Jim is, so I know there are people who will say that my next comment is just the same as any other Meat Loaf fan - but i don't think his voice is truly that bad! If you think about someone like Dylan - who's lyrics you can't even understand - or the last albums of Johnny Cash - which were his best because he sounded so worn and old - for a man of sixty singing almost operatic rock songs i don't think he's doing too bad at all. Just my opinion. > But i have a copy of the loafish one live in Hamilton, > Ontario from the current (cancelled) tour 21 tracks, > anyone wanna copy or to host? > retro900(at)zrxoc.com | |
