I checked Wei's info on the blog, which already in January gave the info about a new project. But it seems we overlooked it all, in the flurry of other things. Now we can see the project that is afoot. This would apparently coincide with the stage show being considered and prepared.
I still feel that the underlying concept is one of continuing evolution, not a finite thing. I guess we'll see what Jim really means by "The Final Songs" when we hear them. This would certainly cut out the existing songs as having anything to do with being a geezer.
