hmm, well... I´m against the right of owning a weapon and I agree with most of what is said by the contra side here. BUT one example against this sentence Klasien:

> how can you own a deadly weapon and claim you never
> intended to kill anyone??

I have a collegue who is highly interested in weapons, tanks, guns, etc... He is also in a group of templars and they built all their clothes and weapons by themselves. His newest baby is a original Ferret tank he is now beginning to restore.
He knows a lot about the technique of guns and all this stuff but I´d definitely say he would never use a weapon against another person! If he had to go to war maybe. But that doesn´t count in this discussion.

So I agree with Will, people kill people. The question is why? But to forbid the ownership of deadly weapons is one step in the right direction. Of course Justin is also right when he says only God / Smeg knows the truth.

Markus.
