I don't know how they'd make it work. If you ran something like "Angels Arise / The Graveyard Shift" over the opening credits people would be more than surprised. Also, from what I'm aware, Nolan's movies aren't as operatic as the Burton ones. It would have worked perfectly in the Burton films. Of course, you never really know.

I didn't really like the idea of it going into "Bat Out Of Hell". I definitely feel it's a distinct Batman song. What Jim should do, and I've said this for a while now, is get the rights from Warner Bros. and record a concept album with Steve Rinkoff, Jeff Bova, some Broadway singers and a live orchestra. That would sell phenomenally well as a curio-item. I think people would see the name: "Batman: The Musical" on a CD and purchase it out of curiosity alone. I really think Jim should think about this. Jeff Wayne's "The War Of The Worlds" was an unlikely source for a musical and his concept album is legendary. I can't wait to see the movie.

Thanks. It's been going really well. A major Batman site came to me and wanted to promote it there. I said, "sure, knock yourself out." I did my best with the lyric-transcription, couldn't pick up everything, and found as many articles as I could grab. JD's still trying to find some more, really important ones where Jim describes scenes of the show and also the "cancellation" rumour which says Meat featured on the demos. No luck, so far.

Ashton, the global mod. at the forum on the site designed that for me. We're collaborating on a few shows at the moment, awesome, AWESOME musician.
