Well jim is just one of my many musical loves, and I'm not sure I hold him up as a deity above any others I love, which I have suspected every now and then is sliggtly different to some of the people here.

I wouldn't batter an eyelid at liking Elvis Costello and Billy Joel. That's really quite tame a dichotomy if you ask me. In fact, I see no dichotomy at all.

People give me shit for listening to Ravi Shankar, cause I only got to him thru George Harrison. And whilst that's true, I like where I got, so I stayed there, you know?

(On an only semi-related note: does anyone else find the Fagan guy from Steely Dan sooooo much like Billy Joel?)
