I wasn't hurt by the post, but it gave me a good reason for what I did. Why should I have a member on my forum who thinks I'm a "mental patient" and couldn't even confront me about it? I say that's just as interesting as what I did. I'm not hurt by any of this, really, because there are bigger problems in life. And yes, I believe in free speech. I have no problems with the controversial posts of some members because they happen to have a head on their shoulders. Never once have I seen them commit felonies (fair enough, bootlegging may be a felony but a) Steinman seems OK with it and b) it's really only a felony when you sell them.) Anyone else who has has been punished. I don't know what Jacqueline's problem is this time. You'll have to ask her. "Pidunk" spreads nonsensical slander that would be punished in any society. I have seen an Australian novelist get imprisonment for less things. Susan is one of the worst-case scenarios I have seen. All I've done is respond to her stupid lies and damaging slander and people think it's my problem. But I can't fight that anymore. I just wish she would go away. Also, I know I've made mistakes in my time ("Weren't we all young once? Didn't we have fun once? Didn't we go to the limits to try new things? Maybe I was young once? I was cheek and tongue once? Didn't I go to the limits in the holiest flow once?") but I am passionate about Jim's music. I do not have an ego and I do not think I'm more important than anyone else. I had a valid reason for banning you because why should I put up with someone who's clearly stated that they don't like me? That's reason enough since I own the board and shouldn't have to put up with anyone feeling that way toward its Admin. And more, you never once discussed the issue with me. You made a public statement on this forum that I wasn't expecting at all. Was I hurt? No. Surprised? Yes. Was my decision right? I think it was. > What's really funny about this is that Ryan claimed he > wasn't hurt by my post (see link), and then he bans me > from his board, even without a warning.
