Well said (whole post, not just cut and paste part). I fully support the searching for more Desmond. I was a Desmond fan before Jim, although not much before. He has just as much material out there as jim, and some just as good (in it's own pop rock way.) Suggestions if you need them: Discipline, The album he did with Rouge. His stuff off Bon Jovi's Keep the Faith and These Days albums are really good. Not to be confused with the songs written by Jon Bon Jovi, who is becoming his own songwriting legend as time goes on. Jon has become a mixture of Springsteen, Dylan and Child all rolled into one. Back to Desmond, a few favs: I don't wanna be your Friend, Angel, The Night Was Not, and the best...What It Takes. I'd probably pick more Bon Jovi, but as time goes on I forget what he wrote and what Jon wrote other than the obvious. -Willis | |
