JD does not need to ban someone else in order to ban me. So, if it is appropriate in her views to ban me, she will ban me for reasons that she could justify to Jim. Jim in turn would concur or disagree, and the banning or not banning would be in force. JD does not need to ban me, because I do not pose a combative or destructive element on the board. Disagreements are handled civilly, my statements are concise, lucid, and friendly towards those who have reason to be interested. So, if you want to take a hit for the community, it would be a really interesting experiment to see, what if, you and Dave were to hold a posting moratorium for a month, without anyone being banned, and see what the board evolves to? Truly you have your own people who would pinch hit for you, we've seen so much of that. But just suppose, that nobody for a month, treated me with horrid graphics, flipped fingers, profane insults? Do you think that something will be lost?

I think your attitude is horseshit, that you think your blog puts the air of insignificance to you is ridiculous. Every request comes followed by, its on the blog. If you did not have the blog you would have your attitude, and when you did not have your blog, your attitude and your consistent membership did make you an integral part of the community. I would not consider banning you but I'd wash your mouth out with soap.

The elder Jim Steinman, if he is consistent along with my Jim, may yet still consider me a part of the family as he said I was long long ago and which my Jim has reiterated more recently. He nor mine truly would not be prone to violent feelings and they have no need to be concerned about anything that I say as long as it is true, and I have no need to say anything that is not true.

We all care about each other. And that is not a thing you like as a concept.
