I get wonderful reviews of my job performance when employed. I am efficient, loyal, accurate, courteous and highly skilled. Everyone shows their appreciation before some higher-up decides they don't want me around. Warner Bros is one example, when my boss protested the directive to hire someone else, and then the execs from human resources visited her and convinced her to see things their way. All she could say then to me a few days before Thanksgiving of 1996, was that she was sorry. Another situation happened when at Bank of America I was the Senior Administrative Assistant to the VP of that 300 person department, and the person who left that job decided conveniently that she wanted to come back. VP said he could give me a glowing review, "glowing" his word, before I left. I went on to another company where I worked for awhile but they kept me as a temp, then mysteriously my boss left the company and his successor decided the work I did had no purpose for him. And so it goes. My resume is filled with stories like this. I've had the best of jobs, and I've had the worst of luck, until I just plain figured it out. Now it is such a predictable pattern that it is only a matter of time before a shoe falls. | |
