No, and this chap wasn't trapped, but he was unconcious and it was touch and go whether he'd survive. The other biker turned right across his path, from the wrong position and without proper signalling, so he didn't have much chance to avoid the crash. In a car he'd have just had a bill for a bent panel or two.
