Hey All,

Just a few things I wanted to weigh in on. This was intended to be a blog post.... but figgured's i'd post it here... w/ a few additions..

1) I HATE POLLS. So fuckin glad this new board doens't allow them. Now we have to resort to good, old-fashion communication....w/ our keyboards......haha....I also love the fucking fact that i can fucking swear on this board.

2)Things allways go wrong in my life... I'm constantly having "larry david moments". Recently, a girl told me she couldn't date me because nothing ever goes right for me. I think that's an example of irony at its finest. My pesimistic outlook on life is often taken the wrong way. People don't get my dark, twisted, scarcastic sense of humor and often times i come off as a whining / complaining little bitch, which when people think that i have to laugh cause they just don't get"it" / me. I get me! people who know me get me! that's all that really matters in the grand scheme... who's grand fucking scheme is it any way?

3) I bumped "Happiness" to the top of my netflix queue, after Jim's and Netflix's recommendation. This movie really appealed to my previously mentioned Dark, twisted and pessimisitically scarcastic sense of humor. I wouldn't rank it in my top 5 films of all time, as Jim did. But i gotta say that I haven't laughed like this @ a movie in quite some time. It wasn't a comedy, its a interwoven dark perverted story of an insanely dysfunctional family, the movie ends when the oldest son ejaculates for the first time. In addition to its dark humor is its abilty to provoke those forbidden thoughts; twisted yes, but makes you really wonder what dark secrets exist in your extended family. Though, if they made this movie based on my dysfunctional family, it would have been far more disturbing, vulgar, and nausating.......

Happiness explored bitter & brutal reality much like "Broken Flowers" or "The Station Agent did, both of which i recommend, but only HAPPINESS could take it over the edge...

3) Jim mentioned "King Kong" in his blog. I went to see this move when it first hit the theaters. I was at a party in Boston one weekend and some member's of Peter Jackson's film crew were there, raving about how great this movie is and how brilliant PJ is etc.... This movie was 3 hours of torture, my restless legs DROVE ME NUTS DURING THIS BORING MESS. Jurrasic Park + Gangs of New York + Titanic = FAILURE.

4) Reading the new book by Kevin O'brien "Left for Dead" good read but not as good as his prior books. If you're a fan of Thomas Harris definatly check out Kevin O'Brien... Ok enough for tonight.......
