> 1) About you: 47, married, 5 cats and no kids at the last count. Self-employed computer software guy. Most of my customers are outside the UK so I get to travel quite a bit. > 2) How you found Jim's music: A friend played Bat 1 to me, then Meat was on The Old Grey Whistle Test. This of course was in the days before widescreen TV so he pretty much filled the screen. Highlight though was Karla's flimsy top ... ;-) > 3) Have you ever met Jim (details): Yes*. Firstly at the original OTT show in NYC. I didn't notice that where he was sitting was raised up a bit, and I very nearly tripped. I don't think that flying across his table knocking drinks everywhere would have been a good introduction :-). After that was at the Mohegan Sun shows, when a few of us chatted with Jim for quite a while despite Rink tried to drag him away :-). Last and definitely not least was when I was lucky enough to present him with a gift that Daphne, Mrs Dave and I made up and everyone on the Steintrip signed. This was the "Coupe de Ville meets Crackerjack Box in a frame" :-). > 4) Favorite song: FCOL then Objects. > 5) Your other interests: Photography, motor racing. > 6) Bbook you're currently reading: Learning to Ttype. Dave *No this not an invitation for a certain person to tell me which of the Jim-clones or Jim's cousins I met on each occasion. | |
