Firstly, not sure why you've got yourself involved, but anyway.

He diplomatically agreed with JD...WTF? what ARE you talking about?

As Rob rightfully pointed out in an earlier post, he probably doesn't mean to disagree with everything I say, but he pretty much does, which kinda twists my tits a little. Especially when he doesn't give alternatives, just disagreements. That might not be 100% accurate, but it's pretty much how I'm seeing it.

That aside, I think I'd be pretty much correct in saying Rob (and not only Rob I might add) would and is complaining about paying for something like a NC, but would be more than willing to put their name down to receive that very same item if it was for free and not even bother with a donation for running costs, however big or small. Now again, that might not be 100% accurate, but I haven't seen anything to suggest otherwise.

People are shooting down The Neverland Chronicles idea because they're basing it on whats gone before, which is being completely unfair to the whole idea. The NC WOULDN'T be just a retrospective of Steinman's career, and any retrospectiveness would be from a completely different angle than what's already on this site, and talking about many other facets of Jims past that either aren't mentioned or fully mentioned on this site. The NC WOULDN'T just have fans thoughts etc. There'd hopefully be Steingatherings mentioned, a calendar of events, new, unused and alternate lyrics. New interviews with Jim, Steven Rinkoff and any other person who works closely with Jim. Maybe a free CD now and again with a demo or two or three on it.

Those are just some possiblities of what could be inside, but there's a whole lot more that isn't mentioned because they haven't been discussed, and they haven't been discussed because the idea is getting shot down at nearly every turn. It seems to me that some peoples naive understanding of what a new NC would be, is a copy and paste edition of what's already on the net. If it were, then I 100% agree, it wouldn't be worth paying for. BUT that notion is very different from what I would envision it to be. And I wouldn't be wasting my time on a worthless idea.

So that might give you a bit of an understanding what's up my butt and why I'm being a little off-handish.

BTW: Bakewell's in Derbyshire NOT Yorkshire
