Wicked has just announced an extension at the Apollo Victoria, until 27/9/08 (see link).
Obviously business is good, and I can see them at least lasting another 3 months until Christmas'08.
If 'Bat' is still going here, I can't see the show now opening until March/April'09 at the earliest (bearing in mind they would probably need at least 6-8 weeks in the theatre, to get the staging set-up/tested).
With this in mind, I really think TDE could/should release their album at some point in 2008, for various reasons:
1. It's been sooooo long since Jim released some studio productions.
2. It should be a good project to get Jim's name 'back out there', prior to the Bat show opening.
3. Would like to see Jim promote the album, and in turn, a good opportunity to promote the 'upcoming' Bat show as well.
4. TDE might decide to do some London shows at last.
Not sure if Jim will let them have 'Body' & 'Children' prior to the Bat show though??
Ho hum.....we live in hope.
