I highly doubt the show is about Meat Loaf, so a mentioning in the booklet will be sufficient. And I'd prefer it if he wouldn't sing on it.
People who are not aware of the Steinman connection but like the album will go for the music, Meat isn't exactly necessary there. People also went to see Abba - the Musical and We will rock you even though none of the original artists were on stage and singing the songs they originally performed.
Come to think of it, booklet wouldn't even be necessary, a sticker on the CD box with "with the songs as made famous by Meat Loaf" would also do :)
