To answer your question: Both, Meat and Bruce, are charismatic performers that offered their own very special kind of great rock shows with fine musicianship. Bruce voice was not top and recently I have heard Meat better (Roayl Albert Hall, NYC, Frankfurt to name a few) and worse (nearly all shows after Scandinavia, when his vocal chords had become tired). Everyone is aware that Meats vocals had gone way downhill towards what became the end of the tour. But he is the only one holding the flag of Steinmusic on a global basis these days. And when not overtoured he is well capable of doing so, as i.e. the vovals on Bat 3 or 3 Bats Live proof. | |
