| OK, it's very easy for a Steinfan to come along and say "No, it only had Steinman covers." But the riff and the verses of "Nowhere Fast", musically and lyrically, are completely different. I've heard the story that this version was the original draft for "Streets Of Fire" (Lyrically, I think it's the best version.) So why did Steinman give it to Meat Loaf, of all people? I thought he and Jim weren't speaking in that period? Sure, it would make sense for Meat to cover his songs, but to record a previously unreleased title? He didn't do that on "Welcome To The Neighborhood". Besides, what came first? "Bad Attitude" or "Streets Of Fire"? Does anyone know the story behind this? Also, how come there's 2 Mixes of "Bad Attitude"? I have both of them and I prefer the US one. The UK one is a little...hmmm, I can't pick it but it's odd. | |
