I remember reading the story at the time about Nowhere Fast, the BA version was the version originally intende for SOF. For some reason Jim felt compelled to do a slight re-write of it, to be honest i don't think the BA would have worked well in SOF.
Quite often the record companies make tracks more commercial for the US market, the did the same with 2 other notable rock hits in the 80's Whitesnake's Here I Go Again & Chers Heart Of Stone.
