Saw Tanz in Berlin last night

I finally moved my body down to the German capital to see TdV and I must say I'm not overjoyed. I didn't know that they edited many of the songs/instrumentals and moved up the tempo on others. Apparently they think the musical is too long ? I didn't like that they beefed up the comedy.I think it's a risky move since, we all know what happened to DoTV. And wasn't there a new intro to act 2 in Hamburg ? I didn't think the orchestra was good enough to play Jim's music. I liked the moving house on "braver" and the Krolock was rather good, even though his "rewrite" in "Tanzsaal" made me think of Mikey boy.

I see that the creative team is mostly the same as the original. Does these people actually go to Berlin at the rehearsels or do they just keep getting credit for what they created in Vienna ? I thinking particular on Michael Reed and Steve Margoshes. The sound is so very different from the original.
