| Cloverfield was good in my opinion because it created a feeling of being there. Maybe it didn't work for everyone. The point wasn't a monster moneyshot or character development. How much would people develop in that situation? As for Sweeney Todd... have you seen the filming of the Broadway production? Seeing that made the movie a letdown... the stage show is so much better... with a cast that can actually sing, and all the music intact, not pulled apart like DOTV. > I wasn't impressed with Cloverfield.
