IMO this has got nothing at all to do with the old and pointless argument about who was more responsible for their joint success. The quoted phrase is: - "Bat Out Of Hell", based on rockguru Meat Loaf's music. The music was 100% Jim's invention. Not a note or lyric was invented by Meat. The musical could be made, based on that music, even if Meat never existed. And as for being a "rockguru", here's the definition of a guru: "A guru is a person who is regarded as having great knowledge, wisdom and authority in a certain area, and uses it to guide others." No further comment required. Again, none of this has anything to do with Meat's undeniable part in their joint success. Dave | |
