They wanna have the old Queen and they don't wanna have to be changed. But they can stay at home and listen to their records, and that's cool." The album is hugely enjoyable. Three of the worlds finest musicians working in the studio on new material. It's an incredibly confident piece of work which blends the spontaneity of Rodgers with the craftsmanship of Queen. The overriding sense I had was one of great enthusiasm and joy...you can hear how energised they are to rev up the old machine and do, once again, what they've always done and what they do best. I agree about the "grower" tag too...it's been on repeat on my iPod since it's release and it just keeps getting better.
