| I know I would love to see a Bat Out of Hell reunion concert, if only just once. Most if not all of the original players are still around. (I know Phil Rizzuto is gone, is anyone else?) However, I'm torn as to whether it should include non-album players who were integral to the album's success. Obviously Jim would be there for the Hot Summer Night speech, but what about piano? And what about Ellen vs. Karla? How would they be split up? Now, this thing wouldn't work without Meat Loaf, but we all know he can't sing a lick these days. In light of his recent improvement, I'm holding onto a hope that his voice comes back*, but if it doesn't, is there anyone else who could pull it off? Maybe the idea's a little silly, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who's wanted to see Todd, Roy, Max, and the rest playing these amazing songs again. Your thoughts? *I know there are some here who think he hasn't sung well in 10 or 20 years, but I'd settle for Melbourne 2004 quality, he definitely rocked the house. | |
