Hmmm it's that clear is it? This is ONE of the reasons I don't agree with the death penalty, as life is full of shades of grey, and hardly ever any black & white.
My own guestimate on what happened is that they were both drunk and 'messing around', and the gun has gone off by accident.
No-one will ever know what really happened, or whose finger was on the trigger, and I think Spector sealed his fate by refusing to give evidence.
Just a bloody waste, for everyone concerned. Don't ya just love guns?!
