| Thanks for posting the link to that list. I thought BOOH would be higher than number 9 but at least it outsold Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. I see that Celine Dion is number 11 with the Falling Into You album. Of course the biggest hit from that album was IACBTMN and Jim has a production credit. I see that Celine is also number 15 with the Let's Talk About Love album, which came out in 1997, a year after the Falling Into You album. Jim has a production credit but the write up says: "The track "Where Is the Love" was a last minute addition to the album. It replaced "Is Nothing Sacred," a Jim Steinman penned/produced song which was removed from the album for unknown reasons." I wonder what the unknown reasons were. Many people are a bit negative about Celine but she must have something going for her. Two of her albums outsold every Beatles album except for Sgt. Pepper's. I personally would prefer to listen to Abbey Road instead of Falling Into You but there is something about Celine that appeals to a lot of people. It's a shame that she hasn't covered more Jim songs. | |
