Loads of teenage guys (me included) liked Kate Bush and her version of Wuthering Heights. It was a wonderful song and she looked amazing. Although, Cliff Richard's Heathcliff was absolutely aimed at a female audience. I went to see it and the audience seemed to be 90% older ladies. I think you are correct about Wuthering Heights being aimed mainly towards a female audience. Especially the original novel. > I didn't mind the movie, it wasn't mind blowing > edge-of-your-seat stuff, but something you can put on and > have your brain numbed for and hour and a half. It wasn't dreadful. It's a very difficult story to get right. Laurence Olivier made a great Heathcliff. It didn't have any great performances like that. | |
