WDTW Film? | |

ALW once mentioned back in early 2000's that he was gonna film all of his musicals (eventually), and I think he then started by doing an update of JCS. To keep it cheaper (than a big studio pic), think a TV production of WDTW would work great as a family film with 'edge' (maybe in conjunction with SKY or ITV at Easter or Christmas), and it's about time the Hayley Mills original was updated? I think they would have to cut some of the songs, but this would hopefully allow Jim/ALW to write something new (just to bring a new perspective). One of my favourite lines from the show is 'No-one's ever looked at me, the way you're looking at me now', and I think they could write a great love song using this as the title? (I'm trying for my alternative Batman vision). BTW - Listening a lot to 'Nature of the Beast' lately, which I think is great. | |
