| For what it's worth I don't have a problem with what you post (there's been far worse on Rockman), and I think some people here are a bit too sensitive (although that's their prerogative). IF you do have 'big juicy bits' about the show then you are being pretty well restrained, as I don't think you have given out anything (that Jim hadn't already blogged about), apart from Gerald Scarfe may no longer be involved. But then so what? I was looking forward to what Scarfe came up with but if Jim and/or the producers have moved on to another designer then okay, we can look forward to something from a different angle. The only other 'info' that has 'leaked' in the last 12 months or so is two rejected logos/posters, so I would say the producers are doing a good job of keeping everything 'under their hats', and Jim from blogging (vee have ways of making you NOT talk!). BTW - Talking of info being released, wasn't the 'Love Never Dies' press launch a bit of a damp squib? They had about a two month twitter lead-in and then it all seemed a bit of a rush job. ALW did his usual ramble but gave very little away (that wasn't already known). No Glenn Salter or Jack O'Brien. No Q & A. No songlist. I also thought that the two leads (as they were present) could have performed live a couple of songs, instead of a (bland) video. Perhaps they will have something else nearer the first night, but it seemed a wasted opportunity? | |
